Water-based ink, abbreviated as aqueous ink, is a water-based printing ink produced through chemical processes and physical blending of water-based polymer emulsions, organic pigments, and additives.
Since aqueous ink replaces 30% to 70% of the toxic organic solvents found in traditional inks with water, it eliminates volatile organic solvents from the ink.
